Roland Foster

Roland Foster, Jr. has extensive work experience in the field of software development and architecture. Roland started their career at Schlumberger Information Solutions as a Senior Software Developer, where they worked on a J2EE e-commerce application. Roland then joined SunGard Consulting Services as a Senior Application Developer, where they contributed to the development of a gas transportation scheduling system. After that, they worked at Houston ISD as a Lead Systems Analyst, focusing on custom module and site development using VAP and Vignette. Roland then joined Wellogix as a Lead Production Engineer and Senior Developer, where they met a tight deadline to develop an application for transforming faxes into digital invoices. Roland continued their career at BP as a Senior/Production Support Developer, transitioning from a Java to a C# developer role. Roland also worked at Spark Energy as an Application Developer and Team Lead, leading a team of developers in supporting an internal CRM system. Roland's work experience also includes roles at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center as an Application Architect and at Optimization Labs as a Senior Solutions Architect. Roland is currently working as a Technical Advisor at Guzo.

Roland Foster, Jr. holds a Master's degree in Secondary Education/Curriculum from Xavier University of Louisiana. Roland also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the same university.
