Christian Wang

Christian Wang is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in energy management systems and powertrain controls. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Engineer at Energy Vault since November 2021, Christian previously held the position of Chief Solutions Engineer at Wärtsilä Energy from May 2018 to November 2021, contributing to the development of software for battery energy storage systems and overseeing projects totaling 750 MWh. Prior roles include Powertrain Controls Engineer at Ford Motor Company, Software Engineer at Greensmith Energy, and research and teaching assistant positions at the University of Pennsylvania, where Christian obtained both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Christian's early experience includes an internship at Hewlett-Packard and a research internship at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology.
