Simon Colver

Simon Colver has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Simon started their career as an R&D intern at Sheffield Forgemasters International, where they worked on developing improved heat treatment methods and evaluated simulation software. Simon then moved on to Mercer UK as a Business Analyst, where they conducted investment research and analysis.

After that, Simon worked as a Senior Investment Associate at The Ingenious Group, focusing on evaluating energy generation projects and identifying investment opportunities in cleantech and infrastructure. Simon later became an Investment Manager at Ingenious Infrastructure, leading a team and defining the future strategy for the group.

Simon also had a freelance stint as an Analytics Consultant before joining Energy Vault SA as a Product Manager. Simon eventually transitioned into the role of Analytics Team Lead at Energy Vault, where they built tools for power market project design and supported in contract negotiation.

Throughout their career, Simon has gained expertise in analytics, project evaluation, investment management, and business strategy.

Simon Colver attended the University of Oxford from 2007 to 2011, where they pursued a degree in Engineering Science (MEng). Prior to that, they attended Trent College, Nottingham from 2001 to 2006. Simon also obtained certifications in "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)" and "Python Data Structures" from Coursera in 2019.
