Matt’s primary focus at EnergyHub is building relationships with distributed energy resource (DER) manufacturers and service providers who are interested in adding their connected devices to the Mercury DERMS platform. He also works with utilities deploying smart thermostats and other DERs for demand response and load management programs. Matt joined EnergyHub in 2009.
Prior to joining EnergyHub, Matt held a variety of positions in the energy sector, including serving as Director of Business Development at Gaia Power Technologies, an energy storage firm, and as an Assistant Vice President at Sentech, a clean energy consultancy.
Matt holds an MBA and a MS in Environmental Policy from the University of Michigan, and a BA in History and Public Policy Analysis from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
