Matthias Hüls

Matthias Hüls has work experience as a Data Scientist at EnergyHub since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at HELLA Aglaia Mobile Vision GmbH from October 2018 to January 2021. Before joining HELLA Aglaia Mobile Vision GmbH, they worked at Siemens as a Development Engineer and PhD Researcher from September 2015 to August 2018.

Matthias Hüls has an extensive education history in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Matthias began their academic journey at Goethe Gymnasium Ibbenbüren from 2000 to 2009, where they obtained a Certificate of General Qualification for University Entrance (Abitur). After completing their secondary education, Matthias pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University from 2009 to 2013. During their undergraduate studies, they also spent a year studying at the University of California, Davis in 2011-2012. Following the completion of their bachelor's degree, Matthias continued their studies at RWTH Aachen University and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2013 to 2015. During this time, they also had the opportunity to study for a semester at the University of California, Berkeley in 2014. Building upon their master's degree, Matthias embarked on a doctoral journey at Leibniz Universität Hannover from 2015 to 2020, ultimately earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Through their academic pursuits, Matthias has developed a strong foundation in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
