Hamdah Tahir

Hamdah Tahir has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. In that year, they began working as a Private Tutor for high school students in calculus and vectors and advanced functions. In 2018, they became a Teacher Assistant at the University of Toronto Mississauga, where they taught English as a Second Language (ESL) and monitored student reading comprehension, speaking, and writing improvements. In 2019, they were a Teacher Assistant at the University of Toronto and an NSERC Student Researcher at the University of Toronto. In 2020, they became a Teacher Assistant at the University of Guelph, where they connected course material to real-life applications such as pharmacy, engineering, and business. In 2021, they worked as a Principal at Spirit of Math Schools Inc. and a Teacher at STEM Montessori Academy of Canada. Hamdah is currently a Data Scientist, Computer Vision at Enersoft Inc.

Hamdah Tahir has an education history that includes a Honours Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Toronto, which they completed in 2020. Hamdah then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics at the University of Guelph, which they are currently enrolled in. In addition, Tahir has obtained various certifications from edX, including Python for Data Science Project, Analyzing Data with Python, Visualizing Data with Python, Machine Learning with Python, Python Essentials, and IBM Verified Certificates for Python for Data Science Project, Analyzing Data with Python, Visualizing Data with Python, Machine Learning with Python: A Practical Introduction, and Python Basics for Data Science, all obtained in 2022.
