Shane Ward

Shane Ward is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in cost accounting, currently serving as Plant Controller and Cost Accounting Manager for EnerSys since March 2018. In this role, Shane oversees a cost accounting team for Energy Systems US, focusing on inventory management, variance analysis, standard costing, and plant budgeting and forecasting. Prior to this position, Shane was a Senior Accountant at EnerSys, handling similar cost accounting responsibilities. Previous experience includes serving as a Cost Accountant at Alpha Technologies and La Belle Inc. Shane holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Western Washington University and an Associate's degree in Business-Accounting from Whatcom Community College.
