Michael Nguyen has over 13 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer. Michael began their career in 2009 at Force10 Networks, where they held roles as a Manufacturing NPI Engineer at DELL, a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, and a SR. In 2013 they moved to Silicone Image, where they held the role of Manufacturing NPI/Test Engineer. In 2014 they moved to Pi-Coral, Inc., where they held the role of Manufacturing Engineer. In 2016 they moved to Sanmina, where they held the role of Manufacturing Engineer. In this role they reviewed new designs for DFX, reviewed DFM reports and gave feedback to Design teams, monitored yield output for Manufacturing vendors, introduced new products to the contract manufacturer, investigated product failures root causes and implemented changes, created ECN, Deviations, Stop ships and Production Alerts, engaged with suppliers to improve the quality of materials purchased, prepared shipments for customers, trained Manufacturing Contractor Engineering and technicians on new products, supervised builds from start to pack-out, provided daily status to management teams, and supported Engineers on new parts. In 2017 they moved to Infinera, where they held the role of Sr. Manufacturing Engineer. In 2018 they moved to Velodyne LiDAR, Inc., where they held the roles of Process Engineer and Product Repair Engineer. In 2020 they moved to Waymo “Google”, where they held the role of Manufacturing Process Engineer. In 2021 they moved to Mattson Technology, where they held the role of Manufacturing Engineer. Michael is currently employed at EnerVenue, where they hold the role of Manufacturing Engineer.
Michael Nguyen has a background in Electronics. Michael completed an A.A Degree at Lycee Jean Perrin between 2004 and 2005, and they also completed an AA Degree at the same school during the same period. Prior to that, they obtained a Baccalaureate in Electronic Engineering from Lycee Tech between 2000 and 2003.
