Marcello Carvalho

Marcello Carvalho is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in treasury, risk management, and investment strategies. Currently serving as the Director of Treasury and Treasury, Risk and Insurances General Manager at Eneva since August 2016, Marcello oversees a wide range of treasury activities including bank and investor relationship management, fund raising, debt management, and insurance programs. Prior to this role, Marcello enhanced treasury operations at Parnaíba Gás Natural as the Treasury, Risk and Insurances Manager and held the position of Financial Manager at Vale, where responsibilities included overseeing global back-office functions and leading a team. Marcello also served in executive roles at Tokio Marine Seguradora and has a solid foundation in trading and financial analysis from previous positions at Banco BBM. Academically, Marcello holds a Master's degree and an MBA from FGV, along with a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
