Michael McCartney

Michael McCartney is an accomplished maritime professional with extensive experience in tug and vessel operations. Since April 2012, Michael has served as Tug Master for Engage Marine, specializing in ASD tug operations. Prior experience includes roles as Master of multicat vessels and project-related operations at Total AMS Pty Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed dredging, anchor handling, and barge management. Additional experience includes serving as Master for crew change vessels at GO Marine Group and as Fleet Manager for Oceanic Cruises, overseeing operations of multiple passenger vessels. Michael holds several maritime qualifications, including Master class certifications and a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, with education from institutions such as the Fremantle Maritime College.
