Sidi is responsible for managing EngenderHealth’s programming in Mali and serves as reproductive, maternal, neonatal, child, and adolescent health/gender team leader for the Kènèya Nieta project. He has more than 12 years of experience in project management in the fields of research, humanitarian assistance, and development, and has led multidisciplinary and multicultural teams at the national and sub-regional levels in the Sahel region. Prior to joining EngenderHealth, Sidi served in a variety of positions for organizations including Action Against Hunger Spain, Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe, the German Agency for International Cooperation, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, and the United Nations Development Programme’s Millennium Promise Alliance. He has expertise in epidemiology, family planning, gender and development, malaria, nutrition, and social cohesion.
He holds a master of public health from the West African Health Organization and a doctorate of medicine in pneumo-phthisiology from the University of Bamako.
