Will Finch has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Technical Assistant role at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2016. From 2017 to 2019, they held positions at the Technique Newspaper as a News Editor and Staff Writer, and was also an Undergraduate Researcher at the Exoskeleton & Prosthetic Intelligent Controls Lab. In 2020, they became a Project Engineer at the Georgia Tech Institute for Electronics and Nanotechnology, where they prototyped PPE for use in cleanroom environments during COVID-19, supported laboratory infrastructure in layout design and equipment setup, and manufactured gas and fluid systems for water, vacuum and nitrogen lines. Currently, they are a Mechanical Engineer at EngeniusMicro, where they are a cleanroom process and equipment engineer for MEMS research and development, as well as a technical writer and illustrator for SBIR proposals.
Will Finch attended Georgia Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering in the field of Engineering.
