Ross McInnes is the current Director at Engie Group. Prior to this, they were with Australian Industry Development Corporation Ltd from January 1990 to September 1997 where they were Manager Economics & Foreign Exchange. Ross was successful in managing a $A 1.25bln portfolio of money market, fixed interest and foreign currency instruments. Ross also provided global financial mkts & economic strategy research. Ross then went on to State Bank of NSW - Group Treasury (Colonial First State -CBA) from December 1988 to August 1989 as Financial Markets Researcher. During their time there, they worked on a project for the Treasurer during honours year which involved financial modelling & computer simulation that pointed to arbitrage opportunities between London & Chicago USD foreign exchange futures.
Ross McInnes graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Economics (Honours). Ross then went on to complete a Master of Commerce (Honours) at UNSW, where they studied finance, bank management, derivatives pricing, portfolio theory & allocation, and resource evaluation.
