Amanda Sgro

Amanda Sgro is an experienced professional with a background in chemical engineering, holding a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University. Currently serving as an Associate Specialist in the Quality Line Oversight Program at Merck since July 2020, Amanda is responsible for evaluating vaccine products, performing line clearances, and investigating quality notifications. In addition, Amanda has been an Engineering Ambassador since April 2017, promoting the STEM field, and played a leadership role in Penn State THON™, contributing to logistical operations. Previous internships at Siemens Healthineers and HighPoint Solutions further honed Amanda's skills in operations and quality assurance, focusing on supplier collaboration and software integration for enhanced efficiency.
