Cansu Birsen

Cansu Birsen is currently a Teaching Assistant for CS105 (Programming Languages) and a Communications and Marketing Intern at Tufts University, where responsibilities include maintaining the Tufts SOE website and preparing annual reports. Cansu serves as a STEM Ambassador for the Engineering Ambassadors Network, designing interactive presentations for underrepresented students. Cansu has completed an internship in Cybersecurity Defense & Engineering at PwC and participated as a Break Through Tech AI Scholar at MIT Schwarzman College of Computing, leading a project on gender disparities in workforce data. Previous experiences include software development internships at Siemens and Tufts JumboCode, where Cansu created a tablet application for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Cansu's academic background includes pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering Psychology at Tufts University, following education at Robert College.
