Erik Nelson

Erik Nelson has a wealth of experience in engineering and environmental consulting. Erik started their career as an Engineering Technician at Chen & Associates, Inc. in 1983. Erik then moved on to work as a Staff Engineer at Lincoln-Devore, Inc. where they provided geotechnical engineering services to the commercial building and mining industry. In 1986, they joined ICG Inc. as a Senior Project Engineer, where they remained until 2002. During their time at ICG, they worked on various projects related to geotechnical engineering. In 1992, they joined Hargis + Associates, Inc. as a Principal Engineer and Manager of Engineering Services, focusing on site assessment and remediation design for groundwater and soil remediation. In 2002, they transitioned to Geosyntec Consultants as a Senior Engineer, providing environmental and geotechnical design services. Finally, in 2008, they became a founding member of Engineering Analytics, Inc. where they hold the position of Executive Vice President and Principal Engineer. Throughout their career, they have worked on projects in the Western United States, South America, and across various industries.

Erik Nelson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University from 1980 to 1984. Additionally, they had some involvement with Peak Performance, though specific details regarding the duration and area of study are not provided.
