Rob Quail has a diverse work experience in the fields of engineering, project management, and tourism. Rob is currently employed as the Nicaragua Office Deputy Director at Engineering Ministries International (EMI), where they oversee the delivery of projects in Nicaragua and Latin America. Prior to this, Rob was the Director and founder of Open Gates Management, a company specializing in capital projects for historic church buildings. Rob has also worked as a Blue Badge Tour Guide, covering major sites in London and the South of England, and as a Project Manager in the field of historic church buildings. Rob's early career included working as a Mechanical Services Engineer and Sustainability Consultant at Arup, where they worked on various international projects.

Rob Quail attended the University of Nottingham from 2001 to 2006, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering with Spanish. Prior to that, they attended the Royal Grammar School Guildford from 1995 to 2000. In terms of additional certifications, Rob Quail obtained the LEED Accredited Professional certification from USGBC in 2008. Rob also holds the CEng, Chartered Engineer designation awarded by the Engineering Council.
