Helena Dodd

Helena Dodd is a civil servant with diverse experience in academic and professional environments. Currently serving in the UK Civil Service since January 2023, Helena has also held the position of Head Judge at the Big Bang Science Fair since January 2020. Helena completed a PhD in Chemistry at Imperial College London, where roles included President of WOMENinSTEM@IC, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Lead Organizer of the CDT Festival of Science. Previous leadership includes Chair of the University Groups Board for the Women's Engineering Society and President of the Women in Science and Engineering society at the University of Birmingham. Additional experience includes interning at Unilever and providing support for students with disabilities at Clear Links Support Ltd. Helena holds both a Master of Science in Chemistry and advanced degrees from prestigious institutions.
