Karen Woodward

Karen Woodward is an experienced professional in corporate relationships and operations management. Since January 2019, Karen has held the position of Corporate Relationships Manager at EngineeringUK. Prior to this role, Karen served as the Head of Operations at South West Business Council from November 2011 to January 2019, focusing on enhancing regional competitiveness for various sectors. Karen's earlier experience includes working as the UK Business Sector Manager at Focal Research Limited, where responsibilities involved delivering marketing campaigns and maintaining client engagements. Karen also led practitioner management at Recognising Excellence, IiP SW, supporting the network of Investors in People Assessors and Advisers. Holding a BSc Honours degree in Food Science & Microbiology from the University of Leeds, as well as A Levels in Maths, Chemistry, and Biology from Rutland V1 Form College, Karen brings a strong educational background to professional endeavors.
