Advay Sudarshan

Advay Sudarshan is an accomplished student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, pursuing dual Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering, complemented by a Minor in Electrical Engineering. Experience includes leadership roles as Project Lead for the Hopkins Park Wastewater Rehabilitation Project with Engineers Without Borders USA, and Mechanical Team Lead for the Illini EV Concept, overseeing teams in technical design and implementation. Additional responsibilities include serving as Head Engineering Learning Assistant, guiding first-year students, and contributing to research under Professor Nenad Miljkovic. A former Combat Security Trooper in the Singapore Armed Forces, Advay also gained practical engineering experience during an internship at GTI Energy focusing on HVAC applications.
