Michelle McGill

Michelle McGill currently serves as the Lead Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer for England Golf since January 2023. Previously, from October 2007 to January 2023, Michelle worked as a Lecturer in Sport at Lincoln College, where responsibilities included programme coordination for BSc (Hons) Sports Top-up degrees, involving planning, delivery, assessment, quality assurance, and strategic development. Earlier in Michelle's career, the role of Sports Development Officer at Leisure Connections from January 2006 to September 2007 included developing strategies and initiatives to boost participation in sport and physical activity. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Primary PE from the University of Winchester, a Master of Arts (MA) in Sports History and Culture from De Montfort University, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sport and Exercise Science from Bangor University.
