Ryan Cowell

Ryan Cowell is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Deputy Superintendent and Executive Director of Human Resources and Talent Development at Englewood Schools since July 2017. Previously, Ryan held multiple roles at Champaign Unit 4 Schools, including Principal of Booker T. Washington STEM Academy, Assistant Principal at Centennial High School, Instructional Coach at Centennial High School, and English/AVID Teacher at Centennial High School. Ryan holds a Master’s Degree in Education Organization and Leadership from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and two Bachelor’s Degrees from Eastern Michigan University in Secondary Education with a focus on Spanish and English, and from Michigan State University in English Language and Literature.
