James Fell has over 25 years of experience in the heritage and marketing sectors, currently serving as the Senior Marketing Manager for the midlands and north at English Heritage since May 2017. Prior roles include Marketing Manager and Heritage and Events Manager at Northumberland County Council, as well as positions at Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums, where James was Museum Services Manager and Communications and Commercial Officer. Earlier in the career, James held roles at English Heritage as Site Manager and at York Museums Trust as Comms Officer, alongside a brief stint at Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery Trust in customer service. James holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Heritage Management from Cumbria Institute of the Arts, completed in 1997.
