Rebecca Simpson

Rebecca Simpson is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in family law and mediation. Currently serving as a Partner at English, Lucas, Priest & Owsley since April 2016, Rebecca also holds the position of Trial Commissioner with the Kentucky Bar Association. Prior relevant roles include Mediator at Family Matters Mediation, LLC, and Family Law Attorney at Kentucky Legal Aid, where representation focused on low-income individuals and victims of domestic violence. Rebecca's legal career began at Howard & Helmers PLC as a Law Clerk and later an Attorney, specializing in civil and criminal litigation with a focus on family-related issues. Education includes a Doctor of Law, Cum Laude, from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Arts, Summa Cum Laude, in English/Writing from Western Kentucky University, where Rebecca also taught Family Law and Introduction to Paralegal Studies.
