Carl Steckerl has over 30 years of experience in the food industry, currently serving as the Environmental Social Governance Lead, Technical Director, and Head of Technical at English Provender Company since January 2006. In this role, Carl manages all technical aspects across three sites, ensuring compliance with BRC accreditation for supply to UK retailers and food manufacturers. Previously, Carl held the position of Technical Manager at Billingtons from 1996 to 2006, overseeing site technical functions and maintaining various accreditations, including BRC and Soil Association. Carl began the career as a Production Supervisor at Tinsley Foods from 1993 to 1996. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Food Technology from the University of Reading, completed in 1993, and attended Cox Green Comprehensive from 1982 to 1989.
