Laura Caller

Laura Caller is a Senior Scientist at ENHANC3D GENOMICS, beginning in August 2023. Prior to this, Laura served as a Visiting Research Scientist at The Francis Crick Institute from October 2019 to August 2023, where innovative high-throughput microscopy techniques were applied to identify and characterize novel host factors essential for BK polyomavirus replication, focusing on detecting druggable host factors for improved BK disease treatment and prevention. Laura also held the position of Research Associate at the University of Cambridge from October 2018 to August 2023, and participated as a volunteer in the COVID-19 Genomics UK Consortium in 2020. Educational achievements include a PhD in Molecular Biology with a focus on Virology from the University of Cambridge (2014-2018) and a BSc Hons in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from the University of Bristol (2011-2014).
