Heike Butar Butar

Heike Butar Butar is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel and VP of Legal Affairs at Eni since February 2018. Prior to this role, Heike was Senior Counsel at Chevron from May 2010 to February 2018 and worked as a Commercial Lawyer at ConocoPhillips from June 2002 to April 2010, focusing on LNG, pipeline gas, and transportation, as well as assets divestment and acquisition. Heike also held the position of Senior Associate at Minang Warman & Associates from September 1996 to May 2001 and completed an internship at Baker & Hostetler LLP in early 2002. Educational qualifications include an LLM in Natural Resources and Environmental Law and Policy from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law and a degree in Business Law from the University of Indonesia.
