Vrishti Gulati has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Vrishti began their career as an intern at Southern California Edison, where they gained experience in SAP data flow and usability analysis. Vrishti then joined IBM Research as a User Experience Researcher Intern, focusing on understanding electricity consumption patterns and making recommendations for the design of Smart Appliances in homes. Vrishti also worked at Intel Corporation as a Graduate Technical Intern, where they worked on prototypes and evaluations for next-generation interactive experiences using voice, touch, gestures, emotions, and personality characteristics.
Vrishti later joined InsightsOne as a Software Engineer, specializing in Big Data analytics, Hadoop jobs, and mapreduce framework programming. Vrishti conducted projects to demonstrate the value of predictive analytics and machine learning on client data, with a focus on increasing revenue through targeted advertising and product recommendations.
At Apigee, Vrishti worked as a Data Scientist, utilizing Big Data, Hadoop, and Spark platforms for predictive analytics in e-commerce, healthcare, and finance sectors. Their responsibilities included building machine learning models for churn prediction, identifying potential complaints using call logs through text analytics, and implementing product recommendations and targeted advertising.
Vrishti's most recent position was at LinkedIn, where they served as a Sr Data Scientist/ Data Mining Engineer. Their work involved data science for core feed and feed relevance on the platform, including defining, improving, and measuring feed performance. Vrishti also contributed to product data science, from ideation to launch, by designing tracking systems, defining success metrics, and conducting A/B testing.
Currently, Vrishti is working as a Senior Data Scientist at Enigma Technologies, Inc.
Vrishti Gulati completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information and Computer Science from UC Irvine, which they completed in 2012.
