Alfonso Santagata

Alfonso Santagata is an experienced professional currently serving as Manager at ENIT – Italian National Tourist Board, responsible for promoting destination Italy in Belgium and Luxembourg since September 2019. Previously, Alfonso held the position of Team Leader Sales Operations at FLIR Systems Trading Belgium BVBA from June 2013 to September 2019, managing a team of twenty and focusing on recruitment, quality strategies, and performance reporting. Earlier in their career, Alfonso worked as a freelance journalist and Editor-in-chief from January 2006 to July 2019, contributing to various magazines and Italian State Television. Alfonso also gained experience in youth engagement as a European volunteer at Regionaal Open Jeugdcentrum Mechelen and has a solid educational background with a Master in Journalism and a degree in Literature and Philosophy from Sapienza Università di Roma.
