Steven Vandenburg

Steven Vandenburg has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Steven currently holds the position of VP, Information Security and Technology Operations at Enlace Health. Prior to this role, they served as the VP, Information Security for the same company and as the Director, Information Security.

Before joining Enlace Health, Steven worked at Cotiviti, where they held the role of Senior Manager, Security Audit and later became the Manager, Information Security. In the latter role, they successfully led the HITRUST Security Assessment Certification project, overseeing the analysis of over 500 engineering, privacy, and security requirements. Steven developed policies, procedures, and technical solutions to meet these requirements and coordinated resources across various teams to address any gaps.

Steven also has experience as a Technology Risk Consultant at their own firm, Steven Vandenburg Consulting, and as an Internal Audit Manager at Warner Music Group. Steven worked as a Business Advisory Services Manager at Grant Thornton LLP and as a Research Assistant at Blue Heron Research Partners.

Additionally, Steven held positions as a Pre-Associate at SEI Investments and as an Investment Operations Co-op at Turner Investments, L.P. throughout their career.

Steven Vandenburg attended Council Rock High School South from 2002 to 2006. After high school, they enrolled in Penn State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from 2006 to 2010. In 2017, Steven obtained certifications in "Big Data Modeling and Management Systems" and "Introduction to Big Data" from Coursera. Steven further obtained a "Certified Information Systems Auditor" certification from ISACA in 2014 and became a "HITRUST Certified CSF Practitioner (CCSFP)" in 2018 through HITRUST. Additionally, Steven completed a certification in "Programming Foundations: Secure Coding" from Lynda.com in 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they pursued Full Stack Web Development at BloomTech. In 2021, they obtained the "Full-Stack Web Development + Technical Interviewing" certification from Lambda School.
