Tuomas Oja has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tuomas began their career in 2011 as a Metal Worker at Muototerä Oy and worked there until 2014. In 2013, they also worked as a Gas Station Worker at Neste Oil K-Market. Tuomas then gained experience in the field of education, working as a Substitute Teacher at Tampere Vocational College Tredu from 2015 to 2015. Tuomas also worked as a Warehouse Trainee at Kalmar in 2015 and briefly as a Spare Parts Salesperson at Kalmar in 2016. From 2017 to 2018, Tuomas worked as a Technical Designer at Vexve Oy, where they designed valves for various energy systems. In 2019, Tuomas had a research internship at CERN. Recently, they have been employed at Enmac Oy, where they initially worked as a Design Engineer from 2019 to 2022. Tuomas is currently functioning as a Project Manager.

Before pursuing higher education, from 2008 to 2012, Tuomas Oja attended Tampere Vocational School where they earned a Mechanical fitters degree along with a high school graduation. Their field of study at the vocational school was Machine and Metal.
