Haresh Melwani

Haresh Melwani has over 25 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, and internal controls. Haresh is currently the Global Head of Internal Audit at ENOVIX Corporation, where they are responsible for establishing the internal audit function and driving compliance across America and Asia. Prior to this, they worked at Alcon as the Global Head of Internal Audit, overseeing internal controls and fraud risk management. Haresh also served as the Regional Head of Internal Audit for Asia Pacific and Japan at Alcon. Before joining Alcon, Haresh held various roles at Novartis, NCR Corporation, Tata AIA Life Insurance, Reliance Retail, Kotak Life Insurance, KPMG, and PwC, where they gained experience in internal audit, compliance, risk management, and financial statement analysis.

Haresh Melwani has a Chartered Accountant (CA) degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, which they obtained from 1998 to 2001. In 2005, they became a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) after completing their studies at IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors. The following year, in 2006, Haresh obtained a Certified Information & System Auditor (CISA) degree from ISACA, USA, specializing in Information Technology (IT) Audits and IT Governance Framework. In 2012, they also became a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) after completing a program in Financial Forensics and Fraud Investigation from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Haresh also completed a second Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) program from IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors, although the exact years are not specified.
