Jorrit Posthuma

Jorrit Posthuma has worked in various roles over the past 13 years, starting with a position as a Programmer and Graphic Designer at Itexion BV in 2007. Jorrit then moved on to become a Teaching Assistant at the University of Twente in 2009, and an Owner at Simplica in 2010. In the same year, they also took on a role as a GWT/GAE Ontwikkelaar at Internetbureau Presenter. In 2013, they became a Scientific Programmer at AMC Medical Research BV, and in 2014, they were a Medical Software Engineer at Nolemmings B.V. Since 2017, they have been the Vice President of Engineering and Software Team Lead Applications at ENPICOM, and a Senior Medical Software Engineer, working on high-performance cloud solutions for the analysis and visualization of immunogenomic data.

Jorrit Posthuma has a diverse educational background. Jorrit obtained a Propedeuse in Computer Science from NHL Hogeschool in 2005-2006. In 2006-2011, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from the University of Twente. During this time, they also completed a Minor in Photography from Fotovakschool in 2008-2009. In 2013-2017, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Medical Informatics from the University of Amsterdam. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera in May 2013.
