Lei Tang has a strong background in engineering and research. They began their career in 2001 as a Research Assistant at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where they worked until 2004. They then joined Fujitec Shanghai Technologies Co., Ltd. as a Research Engineer before moving to Clemson University in 2005 to work as a Research Assistant. Lei Tang's most recent position was as an Engineer at ENSCO, Inc., where they started in 2011.
Lei Tang obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Instrumentation Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2001. Following that, from 2001 to 2004, they pursued a Master of Science degree in the same field at the same university. Lei then went on to enroll at Clemson University, where they earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from 2005 to 2010.
