Travis Gorhum

Travis Gorhum has a diverse work experience in the railway industry. Travis started their career as a Fiber Optic Intern at Transportation Technology Center, Inc in 2014, where they worked on correlating fiber optic data with GPS data using MATLAB. Travis also participated in on-site tests involving rolling stock.

From 2015 to 2022, Travis continued their journey at Transportation Technology Center, Inc, first as an Engineer and then as a Senior Engineer. In these roles, they contributed to various projects in the railway sector.

In 2022, Travis joined MxV Rail as a Senior Engineer II, where they made significant contributions until their departure in October 2022.

Travis is currently working as a Senior Railway Research Engineer at ENSCO, Inc, a position they started in October 2022.

Overall, Travis Gorhum has consistently demonstrated their expertise and commitment in the railway industry, progressing from internships to engineering roles and now as a senior research engineer.

Travis Gorhum obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Travis attended the school from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their degree, Travis has also acquired several certifications. In December 2019, they obtained the First Aid CPR AED certification from the American Heart Association. Travis received their Remote Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration in April 2018. Furthermore, in June 2017, they completed the Railroad On Track Safety Training offered by the Federal Railroad Administration.
