Lily Houghton

Lily Houghton is an accomplished playwright with extensive experience across various esteemed theater organizations. Currently affiliated with The Drama League, Lily is workshopping a play tailored for an autistic brother. Since May 2017, Lily has been signed with United Talent Agency's theatrical department and is a member of the Obie Award-winning writers group Youngblood at Ensemble Studio Theatre, where the play "Rosie" was produced. Upcoming work includes the world premiere of "Of the woman came the beginning of sin, and through their we all die" at Normal Ave Theater. Additionally, Lily contributes to The Flea Theater as a member of the Writers Room and has received the Elizabeth George Foundation Grant for a new play commission at Seattle Rep. Lily's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Bennington College and a study abroad in playwriting at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
