Jack Sheppard

Jack Sheppard has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Jack started their career at IDBS in 2010 as a Software Tester, where they led the testing of various releases and created project documentation. In 2012, they transitioned to the role of an Automation Engineer, responsible for creating and maintaining the company's Automation Framework and advising stakeholders on automation strategies. Jack also provided training and mentoring to staff members in using the framework.

In 2015, Jack joined Amido as a Technical Consultant, specializing in Quality Assurance. Jack'sresponsibilities included automation, performance, exploratory, security, and management testing. Jack worked in this role until 2017 when they were promoted to the position of Senior Consultant. In 2020, they further advanced to the role of Lead Consultant. Currently, Jack holds the position of Principal Consultant at Amido, which they started in April 2021.

Throughout their career, Jack has gained expertise in various aspects of software testing and quality assurance, demonstrating their ability to adapt and grow professionally.

Jack Sheppard completed their educational journey, starting in 2001 with their enrollment at the University of Southampton. Jack pursued a degree in Biology with Computer Science and successfully graduated with a 2.1 in 2004.

Following their undergraduate studies, Jack went on to pursue further education at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd. From 2004 to 2009, they worked diligently towards obtaining a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biophysics.
