Frederick T. Murphy has been working in the medical field since 1993. Frederick T. started their career as a Resident/Fellow at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, a part of Army Healthcare. In 1999, they became the Chief of the Division of Rheumatology in the Department of Medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center. In 2001, they became an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2015, they founded and became the Executive Director of Enspice Children's Foundation, and also became a Member of the Board of Directors for RuckPack - Combat Nutrition. In 2018, they became the Lead Medical Officer and Cofounder of Enspice. Frederick T. also became the Owner and Partner of Altoona Arthritis & Osteoporosis Center, where they work to educate patients, physicians, and family members about the protean manifestations associated with the diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex rheumatological diseases.
Frederick T. Murphy received a BS and BA in Biology and English, respectively, from Villanova University between 1981 and 1985. Frederick T. then went on to obtain a DO in Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine between 1989 and 1993. Additionally, they have obtained Diplomate certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.
