Adriaan Slabbert

Adriaan Slabbert is an accomplished software professional with extensive experience in software engineering and security architecture. Currently serving as a Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Entelect since February 2021, Adriaan previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at takealot.com from September 2019 to February 2021. Earlier experience includes roles as a Software Developer at Entersekt and Security Architect at Telcred AB, where Adriaan contributed to foundational work in access control solutions. Additional roles include consultancy at Ericsson and research positions at Axiomatics AB and the Swedish Institute of Computer Science, focusing on ICT security and access control mechanisms. Adriaan holds a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Security from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and an Honours BSc in Computer Science from Stellenbosch University, along with certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from agile42.
