From 1997 to 2001, Laurie worked as a Department Administrative Assistant at Seagate Technology, providing support to multiple departments.
In 2002, they joined Econergy International Corp as an Executive Assistant, where they supported the CEO and handled various administrative tasks. Laurie then moved on to Evergreen Energy Inc. in 2009, working as an Executive Assistant to the CEO until 2011. During this time, they gained significant experience in the field of clean and renewable energy.
In 2011, Laurie became the Director at Project Butterfly, overseeing all aspects of the project and managing research assistants and third-party collaborators. Laurie utilized their expertise in business operations, marketing, finance, investor relations, public relations, human resources, and project management to ensure the timely completion of high-quality work. Laurie remained with Project Butterfly until 2014.
Since 2014, Laurie has been at Entelligent where they have held various roles. Currently, they serve as the EVP Administration and Company Secretary, demonstrating their expertise in communication and corporate governance. Additionally, they have also fulfilled the role of Communications Director at Entelligent.
