Peng Yu

Peng Yu, P.E. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in electric utility planning and analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer in Advanced Network Planning at Entergy, Peng Yu specializes in non-wire alternatives, renewable technologies, and new technological advancements. Previous roles include Senior Engineer positions in Generation Planning and Analysis, Supply Planning and Analysis, and Transmission Planning, where contributions spanned production cost software modeling, power generation resource evaluation, and reliability studies for the Entergy power system. In addition to work at Entergy, Peng Yu held the position of Chair for the SERC Intra-Regional Dynamics Study Group and completed an internship at the Electric Power Research Institute focusing on advanced transmission technologies. Peng Yu holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
