Jean-Michel Paillarse has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles within the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Jean-Michel began their career as a General Practitioner in the private sector from 1983 to 1988. Jean-Michel then worked as a Clinical Study Coordinator at Eli Lilly and Company from 1989 to 1990.
Paillarse joined GlaxoWellcome in 1990 as a Medical Project Leader, and later became the Head of Clinical Development Unit from 1993 to 1997. Jean-Michel then moved to Sanofi-Synthelabo, where they served as a Business Unit Director from 1997 to 2001.
From 2001 to 2003, Paillarse worked as the Chief Medical Officer at Diatos. Jean-Michel then joined Harrison Clinical Research in 2004, initially as the Business Development Director and later became the Managing Director until 2011. In 2011, they founded Vesper Medical Services and served as the Managing Director until 2012.
In 2012, Paillarse became the Global Clinical Development Leader at LFB for a year before joining Ablynx in 2013 as a Senior Medical Director, a position they held until 2015. Jean-Michel is currently the Chief Medical Officer at Enterome, a position they have held since 2015.
Jean-Michel Paillarse has an extensive education history. Jean-Michel first attended Université Paris XIII, where they obtained a degree in Docteur en médecine in 1988. Following this, they completed a Diplôme Inter-Universitaire de Méthodologie de l'Evaluation des Médicaments at Université Paris Cité in 1989.
In 2012, Jean-Michel Paillarse enrolled in the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers and earned a degree as an Entrepreneur de la petite entreprise. Additionally, they obtained an Attestation d'Etudes Relatives au Médicament from Université Paris Cité in 1988.
Lastly, Jean-Michel Paillarse pursued a Certificat d'Etudes Statistiques Appliquées à la Médecine, option recherche clinique at Pierre and Marie Curie University in 1988.
