Virna Marin has a wealth of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Virna began their career in 2003 as a PhD Student and PostDoc at the M. Tettamanti Research Center in Monza. In 2005, they became a Visiting Scientist at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC. In 2012, they returned to academia as a PostDoc at the Helmholtz Zentrum Muenchen. In 2013, they joined MolMed, where they held a number of roles, including Business Development Supervisor, Research Supervisor, Process Development Supervisor, Process Development Specialist, and New Technology Researcher. In 2020, they moved to AGC Biologics as a Business Development Supervisor, and in 2021, they took on the role of Senior Project Manager R&D at Enthera Pharmaceuticals.
Virna Marin has an educational background in Molecular Medicine and Medical Biotechnology. From 2003 to 2007, they obtained a PhD in Molecular Medicine from the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele in the Basic and Applied Immunology section. From 1997 to 2002, they obtained a degree in Medical Biotechnology from the Università degli Studi di Milano.
