Eric holds a Ph.D. in nuclear physics and an M.S. in physics from Ohio State University, and a B.S. in both physics and mathematics from the University of Kentucky.
Prior to joining Enthought, Eric held a postdoctoral research position at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he worked on the development of lattice Quantum Monte Carlo methods and their application to diverse quantum systems. His graduate research focused on applications of numerical renormalization group methods to the ab initio computational solution of the nuclear many-body problem.
In his free time, Eric enjoys hiking, amateur astronomy, ham radio, good food with friends and family, and generally just learning about how things work.
