Joanie Weber has a diverse work experience. Joanie started their career as a Server at FlipSide/One Red Door in 2010 and worked there until 2014. In 2013, they also worked as a Research Intern at The Burton D. Morgan Foundation, where they conducted in-depth research on the effectiveness of national and global business plan competitions. In 2014, Joanie joined The Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative as a Training and Services Manager, where they coordinated nationwide events, designed promotional materials, and managed attendee communication. Joanie later became the Director of Training and Operations, a role they still hold.
Joanie Weber attended Kent State University from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications, including the Academic Coaching Certificate from LifeBound in 2017 and the Symposium for Entrepreneurship Educators from Babson College in November 2014.
