Leonardo Pinzón

Leonardo Pinzón has a diverse and extensive work experience history. Leonardo started their career as a Systems Engineer intern at Banco de la República - Colombia, where they developed risk management tools and provided consultancy and training on process documentation. Leonardo then worked as a Postgraduate Professor at Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano.

After that, Leonardo held various roles at EL TIEMPO Casa Editorial, including Development Engineer, Technical Leader, Senior Project Engineer, and Project Manager. Leonardo was responsible for planning, technical direction, and development of major projects such as eltiempo.com and portafolio.com.

Leonardo then joined Netactica as a Product Leader, where they served as the technical leader for Sabre Holdings B2B booking platform. Following that, Leonardo worked at Despegar.com as a Product Owner and Product Manager, focusing on tour packages and defining product roadmaps and new projects.

Leonardo went on to co-found Ginkgo Crew, a technology consultancy and development services company, where they served as CTO and Co-Founder. Leonardo provided IT architecture, infrastructure, and mobile/web software development services to clients.

Leonardo also worked at Pulzo.com as the Chief Operations Officer, overseeing development, DevOps, design teams, and managing infrastructure and platform uptime. Leonardo played an active role in commercial portfolio construction.

Later, Leonardo co-founded and directed KEEP seguro, an on-demand insurance platform. Leonardo was responsible for the technological solution, including development, architecture, infrastructure, and integration with insurance partners. Leonardo also managed the daily operation's budget and optimization.

Leonardo then worked as the Head of Information Technology at Incagro - Instituto Nacional de Capacitación Agropecuaria. Leonardo was responsible for platform design, execution, infrastructure, agile processes coordination, and ensuring tech stability. Leonardo also focused on usability, growth planning, and aligning technology with business needs.

Currently, Leonardo holds the position of Director of Product and Engineering at Entri. Leonardo has taken on various responsibilities, including leading software engineering teams, participating in agile software development, providing guidance on system architecture, and collaborating on platform integration.

Throughout their career, Leonardo has demonstrated expertise in software development, project management, technical leadership, and business alignment with technology.

Leonardo Pinzón's education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled at the Universidad de Los Andes. Leonardo pursued a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering and completed their studies in 2006. Following this, Leonardo decided to further enhance their expertise by pursuing a Master's degree in System's Engineering from the same university. This program lasted from 2007 to 2009 and focused on organizations and IT business strategy. Leonardo's passion for learning and expanding their knowledge led him to the University of Buenos Aires in 2011, where they completed their MBA with a specialization in Economics in 2012.
