Michael Chinn

Michael Chinn is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Envato since January 2023, Michael previously held positions as a Lead Engineer at Xero from March 2018 to December 2022 and as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead at CAKE from December 2013 to March 2018, where the focus was on developing SaaS solutions for digital spending management. Additionally, Michael contributed as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of California, Irvine, teaching full-stack web development. Prior experience includes working as a Software Engineer and IT Supervisor at A-Check America, where leadership and team mentoring were emphasized.
