John T. Prince

John T. Prince, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and engineering. John T. began their career as a Research Specialist at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, where they worked until 2010. Following that, they joined Brigham Young University as an Assistant Professor, where they stayed until 2014. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at Doba.com in various roles, starting as a Senior Software Engineer and eventually transitioning to a Data Scientist. In 2019, they joined 3PL Central as a Senior Data Science Engineer and later became a Data Engineering Manager. In 2020, they moved to Owlet Baby Care as a Senior Platform Engineer. Currently, they are employed at Enveda Biosciences, where they held positions as a Senior Data Scientist, Data Science Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Data Science.

John T. Prince, PhD completed their education at The University of Texas at Austin from 2001 to 2008, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biology, specializing in the Bioinformatics and Computational Biology track. Prior to that, they attended Brigham Young University from 1994 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry. During their undergraduate years, they also conducted research on Organic Synthesis. In addition to their academic qualifications, John obtained certifications in Intro to ML: Language Processing from AICamp in 2019 and achieved an estimate of Intermediate Spanish fluency through Duolingo in 2016.
