Niranjan Rao

Niranjan Rao has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences. Niranjan is currently serving as the Senior Vice President at Enveda Biosciences since 2024. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant at Libertas BioSciences from 2023 to 2024. Niranjan also held the position of Senior Vice President, Development Sciences at Asana BioSciences, LLC/Libertas BioSciences from 2021 to 2023. From 2014 to 2021, they worked as the Vice President, Clinical Development at Asana BioSciences, LLC. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as the Vice President, Clinical Pharmacology and DMPK at Endo from 2012 to 2014, and as a Senior Director at Kyowa Hakko Kirin Pharma, Inc. from 2005 to 2012. Niranjan also held various roles at Forest Laboratories, Inc., Aventis Pharmaceuticals Inc, Marion Merrell Dow/Hoechst Marion Roussel, and the University of Montana.

Niranjan Rao completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Dr. H S Gour Central University in 1980. Niranjan then pursued further education at The University of Georgia in the field of Pharmaceutics from 1981 to 1982. Subsequently, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree specializing in Pharmacokinetics from the University of Houston between 1982 and 1987.
