Nik Baumann

Nik Baumann is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience leading financial operations and strategic initiatives across multiple industries. Currently serving as Vice President, Head of Finance - Global Operations at QIAGEN since February 2016, Nik has driven significant revenue growth for the QIAstat-Dx division and played a key role in major acquisitions and investments within the Molecular Diagnostics area. Prior to QIAGEN, Nik held leadership positions at Aggreko, where double-digit growth was achieved in the APAC region, and at Merck Serono, contributing to pharmaceutical commercial operations in APAC. Nik's early career included roles in corporate finance and business development at firms such as B & G Global Asociados and Mazda Motor Europe. Educational qualifications include a Diplom-Kaufmann from the University of Mannheim, specializing in Marketing and Controlling with intercultural expertise in Japanese. Nik currently also serves as a Board Member at Envergia, focusing on recovering critical materials from lithium-ion batteries.
